Brewton-Parker College

The Barons were on the road Thursday January 19^th at Emmanuel College.  It was a tough game for the team on the road.  They played hard, but had a difficult time overcoming the lead by Emmanuel.  At the end of the first half, the Barons had an 18 point deficit to overcome in the second half.  Being on the road, this proved to be a tough task for the Barons, even playing as hard as they could.  The final score was 75 to 52.  Yan Moukory led the Barons in scoring with 17 points.  Wendell Williams added 11 points along with Darrie Stephens with 9 points and 5 rebounds.

The Barons played two home crossover conference games over the weekend against Loyola University New Orleans and Spring Hill College. On Friday, the Barons had a tough loss to Loyola.  The Barons kept the score close throughout the game, but Loyola made a push late in the game to overcome the hard fighting Barons.  The final score was 73 to 66.  Yan Moukory had double-double, leading the Barons in scoring and rebounding with 17 and 11, respectively.  Wendell Williams added 14 points along with Jose Davila and Brandon McCarden adding 8 points and Darrie Stephens with 9 rebounds.
