Wheeler High School

Coach Micah Shaw is pleased to announce the signing of Shaquashia Keeling from Wheeler High School. Along with running track and being the region champ for long jump, Shaquashia was also the step team assistant coach and a varsity basketball player for 4 years. She won defensive player and top rebounder in basketball as well.

"I chose BPC because attending this Christian based college will give me an opportunity to develop myself professionally and spiritually, which is something new and different for me. Considering I've grown up in a Christian household, this will be a very exciting experience for me. I'm looking forward to competing in what I love best, Track and Field, and being able to develop a family oriented relationship with new people outside of family. Gaining the experience of receiving my education in a Christian based school will be rewarding," says Shaquashia.

"Shaq is a bright young lady who I believe will fit right in with our program at BPC. I am excited to see her get back into the swing of things and to see her reach her potential in the sport while at BPC," says Coach Shaw.
